How it Works (and Policies)

                                                   General information and specific policies

You've decided to join us. Now what?

You’ve made it this far. You’ve read descriptions, tentative agendas, cancellation policy and think you want to book the trip. The next steps in the process are as follows:

REGISTER FOR THE TRIP

PROCESS

  1. Click REGISTER for the trip you plan to attend. Fill out the form. If the trip appears full, email Kay at kseib3@gmail.com to be placed on a waiting list
  2. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to PAY the non-refundable deposit fee.
  3. Make subsequent payments on time (it helps to set a calendar reminder if you use one but we’ll also send an email reminder) using the same payment method options as described in your confirmation email.
  4. Use the GROUP CHAT that is created just for the people attending your trip (set up 60 days prior to the trip) to meet your fellow travelers prior to the trip. Introduce yourself, ask questions and stay engaged for the best experience.
  5. Make flight, transfer from airport, rental car and other arrangements on your own if needed.
  6. Pack, travel and arrive on time to the location mentioned on the agenda.

NOT SURE YET?

Check the links provided in the Trip Details section and read the FAQs or email Kay at kseib3@gmail.com. She’ll be able to help gather the information you need to help you feel comfortable and even excited to join our group of amazing women.

ROOMMATES

You may choose a solo room or a double occupancy room (sometime a triple room can be arranged but it is not less than the double occupancy room rate). You may be bringing a friend and should include their name during registration (email Kay at kseib3@gmail.com if you have not and we’ll update that information). The questions on the registration form help us match you as closely as possible with a fellow traveler.

WHILE ON THE TRIP

Relax and enjoy! Remember, you may be solo, but you're not alone. Let Kay or Angie know if you have questions or concerns as they arise.

AFTER THE TRIP

Wipe away those tears and schedule another adventure!

In the meantime, we ask that you share your photos with everyone on the trip on a special app. More information in the group chat.

Travel Policies & Trip Guidelines

We’re so glad you’re considering joining us. Our trips are designed for women who love a little adventure, a lot of connection, and time on the water. These policies help keep everything running smoothly so everyone can focus on the experience itself.

💳 Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot on any trip. Final payment deadlines will be shared for each individual adventure and must be honored to confirm participation. Reservations are only considered confirmed once payment is received in full.

🔄 Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that life happens and plans may change. Because we make advance commitments to our travel partners and vendors, we are unable to offer full refunds. If you need to cancel, written notice is required.

Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and will be outlined for each trip. In most cases, deposits are non-refundable, and no refunds are available close to departure dates.

We encourage participants to find a replacement if they are unable to attend, and we will do our best to assist where possible.

🛶 Activity Level & Participation

Our trips are designed as mild adventure experiences, suitable for women who are comfortable being active outdoors.

Participants should be able to paddle for extended periods with breaks, enter and exit a kayak safely, and navigate natural terrain such as docks, shorelines, or trails.

If you have questions about whether a trip is the right fit, we encourage you to reach out before booking—we’re happy to talk it through.

❤️ Health, Safety & Responsibility

Your well-being matters to us. Participants are responsible for managing their own health conditions and medications during travel. Emergency contact information is required prior to departure.

A liability waiver must be completed for participation, acknowledging the inherent risks of outdoor and water-based activities.

🛡️ Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance for all trips. It provides important protection in case of unexpected changes, including trip interruption, medical needs, or emergencies. There are many credit cards and companies that offer travel insurance.

🛏️ Accommodations & Rooming

Both shared and single accommodations may be available depending on the trip.

If you select shared lodging, we will thoughtfully pair roommates when needed. In the event of a roommate cancellation, single occupancy charges may apply.

🌦️ Itinerary Changes

Adventure travel requires flexibility. Schedules and activities may be adjusted due to weather, water conditions, safety concerns, or local circumstances.

While we always aim to deliver the planned experience, adjustments may be necessary. No refunds are issued for itinerary changes or missed activities.

🤝 Group Experience & Expectations

Our trips are built around connection, respect, and shared adventure among women.

We expect all participants to contribute to a supportive and positive group environment. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the trip without refund, as we prioritize the experience and safety of the group.

🚫 Non-Participating Guests

To preserve the intended group experience, trips are designed exclusively for registered participants. Non-participating guests are not permitted to join group activities or travel arrangements. If you have a special circumstance, please contact us in advance.

🎒 Gear & Preparation

A packing list and trip-specific details will be provided prior to departure. Participants are responsible for bringing personal items and any gear not included in the trip package.

📸 Photography & Media

We love capturing the joy of these adventures. Photos and videos taken during trips may be used for promotional purposes unless a participant requests otherwise in writing prior to travel.

💬 Communication

Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information and reviewing all trip communications, forms, and updates in a timely manner.

🌿 Our Commitment

Our goal is to create safe, joyful, and memorable experiences for women who love adventure and connection. We handle the logistics so you can focus on showing up, paddling, laughing, and enjoying the journey. If you ever have questions, we’re here for you.
