After registration ends, we’ll assign travelers based on proximity to each other's home location and other preferences mentioned during registration. Then we'll open a chat group so all fellow travelers can introduce themselves and share information before we meet in person.
I prefer to room by myself. Is there an option for that? Yes, it’s a little more expensive, but most trips include an option for single rooms (based on availability).
Are flights included? No.

As a woman over 50 have, I want to make sure I feel comfortable and safe but I have a few health issues. Am I healthy enough to attend this adventure?
We warmly welcome women ages 50 and over of all fitness levels and physical conditions to join our travel group. Our trips are designed to be active and enjoyable, including activities such as kayaking, hiking, and other outdoor experiences that are not highly strenuous but do require a basic level of mobility, stamina, and independence.
Participants should be able to manage their own personal needs and understand the general physical demands that can come with travel and light activity. By joining, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health, safety, and well-being, and that the group assumes no liability.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your individual situation, we encourage you to reach out—we’d be happy to connect with you personally to help determine if our group is a good fit.
What do I need to bring?
A detailed list will be included with your particular group trip but general items are mentioned below.
Kayak gear (shoes, phone case, dry bag, snacks, water bottle/water)
Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, long sleeve SPF shirt)
Snacks/beverages for your kayak and room
Always check the forcast. Weather can be a factor. For warm/hot weather, it's all about protection from the sun. Cooler windy weather? Bring layers. The PFD will keep you somewhat warm but freeze babies should bring a lined windbreaker. Cold weather (anything under 60 degrees), wear smart wool undergarments as they wick moister and will keep you warmest. This group does not intend to paddle in freezing conditions so you should never need a dry suit.
